Wi | BeforeThis is a shot of a MiniCocker Front Block before modification. Drill through from centerline of the front block screw using small (1/8") drill bit. Then enlarge hole using correct pilot drill for the required 1/8" NPT tap. Be careful not to drill into block screw hole with the pilot drill. Photo below shows detail. Yes, this mod allows the use of both the normal Revolution circuitry (including battery) along with the addition of accepting the Intellifeed commands.
From the photos you can see I opted to install a 1/8 inch stereo plug at the end of the Intellifeed Wire. This allows the use of the hopper on another gun without wondering what to do with a dangling wire. Diode used in the project was a Radio Shack - Part Number 276-1101A, a 50V, 1 Amp MicroMini Silicon Diode. I did this conversion on the 9V version using a 2001 Upgrade Kit. Seemed rather a waste to use the more expensive 18V Model since even the 9 volt battery spins the servo quicker than the guns 6 volt battery pack. You can purchase both the 9V Revolution and 2001 Upgrade Kit for about the same price as the 18V model cost. |
